Every order received by BlackHillsGoldSource is processed for payment and then forwarded to Landstroms shipping department to be filled. If your item is in stock, it will typically ship the next day (Monday through Friday) via UPS Ground, unless you specified expedited shipping on the online order page. If your item is not in stock, then it will take approximately eight working days (again Monday-Friday) for Landstroms to build your item for you, regardless of the shipping method selected. We will notify you by email with an estimated ship date within 24 hours of receiving your order if your item is not in stock.
The same is true for expedited shipping such as UPS 2nd Day Air or UPS Next Day Air. Simply because the order goes through does not mean that your item is in stock! This is a common misunderstanding and it is very important to understand: if you select expedited shipping, and your item is not in stock when Landstroms shipping department receives your order from us, then your item will be queued for production and shipped as requested when it becomes available. Again, we will notify you by email with an estimated ship date within 24 hours of receiving your order if this is the case.

As previously mentioned, by default, all orders go out via UPS Ground. If this is a problem (such as in some rural areas where UPS does not deliver) and you prefer to have your jewelry shipped via the US Postal Service, please contact us and we will do our best to accommodate you. Again, the same applies to expedited shipping. For example, if you prefer to use US Postal Express Mail rather than UPS Next Day Air because you need delivery on a Saturday, etc., please contact us and we will do our best. The same rates will apply.
